This was announced by the representative of the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) Sergei Derkach, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Corruption has no borders and money very often moves to other countries. Therefore, it is very important to develop these particular connections,” he said.
With this money, the EU will purchase special equipment for the Anti-Corruption Bureau. There will also be an internship for NABU employees in international specialized structures.
“We have a young team. The average age of detectives is 28 years. Of course, it is important for them that, thanks to your support, they can undergo an internship, training, and that those young people improve, so that they adopt the best that exists and fight corruption,” said Taras Lopushansky, director of the Lviv territorial department of NABU.
