Radio Liberty reports this.
According to the report, the court ruled that the sanctions could remain in force until the appeal period, which is more than two months, expires. At this time, the Council of the EU will check the validity of Klyuev being included in the sanctions list and that he actually falls within the criteria of persons subject to such sanctions.
The EU Court also recognized the possibility that the information provided to the EU by Kiev may be unfounded and in one way or another lead to the adoption of inadequate decisions.
Let us note that the court upholds the decision of the first consideration of Klyuev’s complaint, which canceled the sanctions from October 2015 and March 2016. As is known, the sanctions against Sergei Klyuev are valid until March 6, 2018.
