The European Court is overwhelmed with tens of thousands of lawsuits against Ukraine
As of July 2017, 87 applications were filed against Ukraine at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reports this.
“According to data posted on the official website of the ECHR, the number of applications filed against Ukraine that were filed with the ECHR since the entry into force of the Convention for Ukraine (as of July 2017) amounted to 87 thousand 786. The number of applications filed against Ukraine in the ECHR in 2017 (as of 2017) - 2 thousand 558,” the report says.
In addition, as of October 2017, the ECHR had more than 3 thousand 700 applications related to the events in the territories of Crimea and Donbass. It is noted that these applications were filed against two states - Ukraine and Russia.
