Eurovision 2017 cannot take place in Ukraine due to civil war
International organizations should prohibit Ukraine from hosting Eurovision 2017, since the competition cannot be held in a country where civil war is ongoing. Political scientist Arayik Stepanyan stated this on the talk show “Meeting Place”.

“When there is a funeral in one room, there cannot be a wedding in another room. When there is a civil war, people are dying in Donbass, there cannot be a feast or celebration of blood in this country. This is immoral and immoral,” Stepanyan said.
Famous director Yuri Kara agreed with him.
“Since there is a war in Ukraine, set a condition for all European organizations - if the Minsk agreements are not implemented by the end of 2016, then Eurovision will be banned in Ukraine,” Kara suggested.
Musician Alexey Poddubny (Django) said that even if the Ukrainian authorities had shown cunning and offered Donetsk to host the competition, this would hardly have been a way out of the situation.
“Donetsk is no longer Ukraine. I have been and still am many times. Now we are going with the guys - we will perform in Gorlovka. Believe me, the entire population who lives there does not consider themselves to be Ukraine,” Django said.
