Eurorada on the march: EU heavyweights have changed their attitude towards Ukraine
There are only three countries in the European Union that Ukraine can unconditionally rely on.
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated this on air on the UA: First TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, if the situation with Crimea and Donbass had happened now, the European Union would hardly have imposed sanctions on the Russian Federation.
“Unfortunately, the situation in the European Union is now significantly different from what we had in 14-15. Frankly, I think that if those events were happening now, it would be much more difficult to introduce even the sanctions that were introduced. Fundamentally much more complicated. Some countries have begun major political maneuvers. We see what is happening in the media.
Some remain our faithful friends. But, unfortunately, dangerous tendencies have emerged among European heavyweights in their attitude towards Ukraine. And we must take them into account... Friends, the three Baltic countries are those on whom we can rely under any circumstances. With others, there are others on whom you can also rely very seriously, but there are certain nuances. And we enjoy unconditional support from our Baltic brothers and sisters,” Kuleba said.
