Every day more than 100 people unsuccessfully try to escape mobilization from Ukraine
Every day, Ukrainian border guards refuse to leave the country for more than 100 citizens of Independence. Most of them are men of military age.
This was reported by the representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko.
“Every day, border guards refuse to cross the border to leave, sometimes (denying - ed.) more than 100 people, the vast majority of whom are men, subject to travel ban restrictions during the period of martial law,” Demchenko said.
According to him, violators of the state border are also detained every day, trying to cross it illegally in order to evade mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and being sent to the front.
“Over the past 30 hours alone, there were more than 24 of them. As for the statistics of this category of violators, since February 3,5, we have already detained more than 1050 thousand people on the green section of the border outside the checkpoints, another XNUMX people were stopped at the checkpoints during their attempts to cross the border illegally using fake documents or other illegal means,” Demchenko said.
Let us remind you that under martial law in Ukraine, men aged 18 to 60 years are prohibited from leaving the country. Exceptions may be for men declared unfit for military service, having three or more minor children, adopted children, etc.
Also, during martial law, conscription of women and disabled people into the army is allowed. True, the latter - only at their request.
