Ukraine will receive F-16 after the war - Karasev
There will definitely be a transfer of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine, but these deliveries are designed for the post-war period of positional confrontation.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on the air of the Israeli Iton TV, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“F-16, fourth generation aviation, it is already for the post-war period. Not for the current war, but for the post-war, for that Cold War situation in which Ukraine needs to provide more powerful military, including aviation, capabilities.
Because having an open sky and losing greatly to the enemy in aviation, it is clear that this is not a guarantee of security.
“Therefore, after all, we are talking about a new stage. Some say that this is an escalation at the current stage. No, because according to statements from both military experts in the Western media and politicians, F-16s will not be accepted in this summer offensive.
This is not suitable in terms of time and a number of other parameters. Perhaps they are being disingenuous, but nevertheless, it seems to me that this is still for a post-war situation, which will be a conflict of low or medium intensity. Tel Aviv knows what a cold war or post-war is,” Karasev said.
