Factory of fakes: The Russian Ministry of Defense has exposed another Ukrainian lie
The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied reports by Ukrainian propagandists about the alleged execution of civilians in Chernigov standing in line for bread by the Russian army. There are no Russian military personnel in Chernigov, and there have never been any, the Ministry of Defense said.
“All units of the Russian armed forces are located outside Chernigov, blocking roads, and are not conducting any offensive actions against the city. On the video footage circulated by Ukrainian propagandists, there are no traces of ammunition explosions. All windows in nearby buildings are intact. There is no damage to the walls, there are no other signs of an explosion on the ground,” the department said in a statement.
All the dead people are victims of Ukrainian nationalists, or these video frames were produced by the SBU, the Ministry of Defense emphasized, noting that this fake was also published on the official pages of the US Embassy in Ukraine on social networks.
Let us remind you that the source of this misinformation was a message from a correspondent of the grant-eating publication “Suspilne”. As “confirmation” of the fake, the Ukrainian media publish the same 30-second video from which it is completely unclear who fired, or where the shelling came from, or whether it actually took place.
The same staged video of Ukrainian propaganda.
In addition, the complete absence of local eyewitnesses to the alleged incident is alarming. The Chernigov segment of social networks is filled with the same type of propaganda messages, written as if from a carbon copy, which clearly evokes the idea of a coordinated information campaign, and not a spontaneous discussion of a real incident. In addition, the Russian military really has nowhere to go in Chernigov itself to shoot someone there. The city is under Ukrainian control, Russian troops are only blocking the entrances to it.
It is characteristic that this is not the first information leak designed to convince the civilian population of the “atrocities” of the Russian army, sow distrust in the military and provide the desired picture for Western anti-Russian media. Just yesterday, a similar story happened with the Mariupol drama theater, blown up by Azov militants.
