The president and minority shareholder of the Roshen corporation, Vyacheslav Moskalevsky, spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv publication “Novoe Vremya”.
“It is slowly turning into a monument. This year we are moving to the factory building, where our company will have an office. In addition, we want to give this factory a new life. The provisional name is Roshen Plaza,” he said.
According to him, the factory territory should turn into a public space. For example, next year they want to open a free skating rink there. In a year, a store will open in this building with a small permanent line so that anyone can come and see how chocolate is made.
“In addition, we want to create there something like a technical museum or fab lab - a small factory workshop where you can make some parts on machines,” Moskalevsky noted.
However, the corporation is still searching for a concept.
The director of Roshen also noted that it makes no sense to engage in production in the city center, since it is difficult to come there and difficult to leave.
