False game of the Maidan activists: Poroshenko, who they themselves brought to power, is declared a traitor and “occupier”
Real Maidan activists have always been suspicious of Petro Poroshenko. MP from Batkivshchyna Igor Lutsenko stated this on the air of the talk show “Right to Vlada”.
According to him, Poroshenko at the initial stage tried to disperse the Maidan and “in general, there was no trust in him.”

“From the very beginning I did not feel faith in the current government. Everyone understood everything perfectly. Perhaps there was some hope that things would go in a positive direction rather than the way they had always gone. This government was not chosen by the Maidan, but by voters who were 40% against the Maidan. Petro Poroshenko was a compromise between Maidan and non-Maidan. This is a figure who was supposed to theoretically bring social peace. The current head of state is not a man of the Maidan; rather, he has always been in opposition to the Maidan. I don’t want to repeat what words were used to see him off on one of the streets near the presidential administration. The attitude towards him was always very suspicious. The problem was that he was one of those who occupied the stage,” Lutsenko said.
