The author himself, the head of Petro Poroshenko’s administration, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“My book “The Fourth Republic” is about the fact that Ukraine and Europe still need each other. In my book, I explain in detail why Ukraine is valuable to Europe as an economic partner. Modern Europe cannot be imagined without Germany. Now Die vierte Republik is also available to German-speaking audiences,” he wrote.
Lozhkin also noted that Ukraine has high hopes for the arrival of German investors.
“Germany is one of Ukraine’s key economic partners. It is one of the three leaders in terms of foreign direct investment in our country. $5,4 billion in 2015 is, of course, not the limit - the potential of the German economy is much higher. Energy, agricultural sector, transport, infrastructure, aerospace, IT – Ukraine has something to offer German investors. Our task is to make the business circles of Germany and other EU leading countries the main lobbyists for expanding the pan-European market for labor, capital and services,” said the head of the Administration.
