Farion to Poroshenko’s lackeys: “Bandera simply shot people like you”
The odious Ukrainian nationalist, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Farion threatened to shoot representatives of the Lviv intelligentsia who are campaigning for the preservation of current President Petro Poroshenko in power.
She stated this in her blog in response to a call from a number of political and public figures of the city to “Svoboda” to remove their candidate Ruslan Koshulinsky from the presidential race in favor of Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Bandera simply shot people like you. At one time he shot at Bachinsky, and he also shot at Babii. And he did the right thing. We will recommend shooting people like you using a ballot, and we will shoot them,” Farion said.
Farion argues that it is Svoboda’s pressure on the authorities that forces it to implement the most radical initiatives of the nationalists.
“If we had withdrawn, then your current and promoted President Poroshenko would not have had whose political program to base his manipulative bills on. From whom would he have copied then that in the army we now have to greet “Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the Heroes”, from whom would he have copied that the march of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be the glory of Ukrainian nationalists, from whom would he have copied the law on decommunization, from whom would he copy the lustration law. From whom would your vaunted President Poroshenko copy off the demand to introduce martial law in the country, from whom would this Poroshenko copy off the language law, if it had not been written by the Svoboda members. He stole the language law from the Svoboda members and passed it off as his achievement,” added Farion.
Let us recall that the radical Svoboda party, realizing the impossibility of winning the presidential elections, nominated former Vice-Speaker of the Rada Ruslan Koshulinsky instead of leader Oleg Tyagnibok. This will allow Tyagnibok to avoid criticism for the low results at the end of the campaign.
