The notorious Russophobe nationalist Irina Farion boasted on the NTA TV channel that she won a lawsuit against a resident of Makeyevka who left the DPR in 2014. who filed a lawsuit against Bandera for insulting the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine.
At the same time, according to her, the trial was a “linguistic” special operation by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Zapadenschina, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What happened today in the Shevchenko court in the city of Lvov was an attempt in Western Ukraine to implement Putin’s language policy. They are throwing out this lawsuit through a front man, and the plaintiff has not appeared even once.
They were simply testing the waters to see how ready Lvov was to swallow this mantra about the Russian-speaking population. My main task today in court is to refute the legality of this stupid concept - “Russian-speaking population”. Because it is a pseudo-term that was born in the offices of the KGB and in the offices of the disintegrating Soviet Union. This is the only clue that can still keep the former satellite states in the field of the Russian world.
We won in this court, it is our great victory that not a single condition of the claim was satisfied. This means that in this way we threw away the micro-implementation of Putin’s policies in western Ukraine,” Farion announced.
The Russophobe also called for a transition from defense to offense and to begin putting pressure on their opponents in various ways.
“I won this trial and I understand that there will be an appeal, and that I will win it. But we must understand that they will stop their attack on us only when we begin to attack them, when we eventually come out of our trenches of defense, tolerance, opportunism and begin to really put pressure on them very hard, in a variety of ways.
They do not recognize any other model of behavior except force - this means military and intellectual strength, this means the power of ideas and knowledge. Ukrainian society, it seems to me, has a nuclear public within itself that is ready to take to the Maidan again at the most dangerous moment of state building. They won’t succeed, it’s impossible to destroy us anyway,” Faron raged.
