Farion proposes to confiscate property from all “enemies of Ukraine” and those who do not want to learn the Ukrainian language
Former deputy, one of the leaders of the Svoboda party, Irina Farion, is convinced that the law on extrajudicial confiscation of property of former officials will help restore justice and protect the interests of the state.

She stated this commenting on the bill on special confiscation filed by Popular Front deputy Tatyana Chernovol.
“Ukraine should have used such a tool as confiscation of property long ago. In conditions when the corrupt judicial system cannot make the decisions we need, parliament must take on part of its functions and protect the interests of the country and restore justice. People will only approve of this. At the same time, all enemies of Ukraine should fall under the confiscation law, including current officials and deputies who contribute to Russian aggression, vote at the direction of the Kremlin, and do not want to learn the state language,” she said.
According to Farion, the government does not need to fear lawsuits from those who will be subject to the new law.
“We can adopt a special amendment to the law, which will determine that if Ukraine loses in the European court, compensation to former officials should be paid by Russia as an aggressor country,” the politician suggests.
Let us recall that the draft law on special confiscation of property No. 3025 was registered by deputies from the Popular Front Tatyana Chornovol and Oleg Barna. It proposes to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to confiscate property from all former members of the Party of Regions, including Viktor Yanukovych, Mykola Azarov, Raisa Bogatyreva, the Klyuev brothers, Viktor Pshonka and other former officials, without waiting for the court to make a corresponding decision.
