Ex-People's Deputy from the Svoboda Union Irina Farion stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel 112.
“This must be done strictly and categorically: no work, no education. They'll chirp the next day. Without any sentimentality. Why do we allow them to have jobs and education if they don’t know the language of those people who gave their lives for this country?,” Farion said.
She considers the widespread use of the Ukrainian language to be the main condition for the existence of the Ukrainian state.
“Language is a state category. People who have not realized this in 26 years do not interest me as subjects. I don’t care whether they are comfortable here or not, they don’t interest me as citizens. The Ukrainian government will become strong when the Ukrainian state language is heard throughout the country,” Farion said.
