Prominent Galician nationalist Irina Farion told Radio Liberty how to distinguish a bleeding Russian soldier from a Ukrainian one.
According to her, everything will depend on what language the wounded soldier will be offered help in - Russian or Ukrainian.

“What distinguishes a Ukrainian from a Russian? If he lies wounded, bleeding, they come up to him and ask: “Brother, how are you?”, what will happen to him, will he know who approached him - his friend or the enemy? And if they ask him: “Brother, how can I help you?”, then he will immediately understand that he has come,” said Farion.
