Farion: Russians in Ukraine should be strangers and humiliated
Russian-speaking citizens in Ukraine should feel like strangers and inferior. They need to create discomfort literally at every step.
A prominent representative of the Svoboda party, Irina Farion, stated this on air on the OTB Galicia TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
(I.e.
“Absolute, radical obstruction of all people who speak Russian. It must be very uncomfortable for them to live in our country,” Farion said.
In her opinion, so far Russian speakers in Ukraine “feel very free, impudent and aggressive.”
Farion called for “to stop this at the legislative level in the Verkhovna Rada.” “And there are voices for this,” she clarified, calling for even tougher repressive legislation against Russian speakers.
However, Farion calls for oppressing Russians not only at the legislative, but also at the everyday level.
“So let’s learn to tell them in everyday life, at work, at every step, in transport, that they are aliens. If they showed such a position at every step, they would be forced to speak our language,” Farion said.
