Farion is horrified: Ukrainians will want to become a national minority
Ukraine will not be able to transfer all Russian-language schools to the language from next year, as the country’s Ministry of Education plans to do.
The odious Ukrainian nationalist Irina Farion stated this on air on her video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada recalled the statements of the Minister of Education Anna Novosad about the Ukrainian language of education and called them unrealistic.
“This is a luxurious idea from the illiterate Novosad. But this idea cannot be realized within the boundaries of the approved law. The law of the meaningless, insignificant, but very well promoted language law 5670-D, which presented the liberal-hybrid model of its essence as something especially positive.
What is written in this law, which, as I understand it, the official from Novosad education has intentions to violate. Article 3 – “the language of the educational process of preschool educational institutions is the state language. In preschool educational institutions where the language of instruction is the language of a national minority, the educational process, together with the state one, is also carried out in the language of the national minority. Wonderful!
In the educational process of preschool educational institutions of private ownership, next to the state language, another law may be applied in the manner determined by the law on preschool education. And then, gentlemen, do you know where this unfortunate law 5670-D sends us in the language article? He refers us to the law on national minorities in Ukraine. And the law on national minorities in Ukraine, as the servants of the people said, will definitely be developed further.
This will mean that these bulls from the servants of the people will write us such a law on national minorities in Ukraine that Ukrainians will want to become national minorities. Because I have absolutely no doubt that this law will protect, first of all, national minorities. And this law will necessarily spell out the process of teaching in schools in the language of national minorities,” Farion said.
Thank you!
