Farion: Hungarian, Romanian, Polish schools are a threat to Ukraine
The new education law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada is not radical enough, since it maintains a loophole for the study of Hungarian, Romanian and Polish in schools. This situation threatens the integrity of Ukraine, since the influence of neighboring countries is growing in the western regions.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion from the nationalist party “Svoboda” stated this on the NTA TV channel.

Farion clarified that the law stipulates that educational institutions can teach one or more disciplines in two or more languages - Ukrainian, English or one of the official languages of the EU.
“What are the other official languages of the European Union? Hungarian. That is, we allow people in Transcarpathia not to know the state language. 65% of children in the Beregovsky district do not know the Ukrainian language at all!
Next is the Romanian language. An incredible threat to Bukovina, with the passports they are handing out. This is the language of the European Union!
I’m already silent about the Polish language. Here in Lviv everyone will rush to study it, opening as many schools as mushrooms! There will be more of them than Ukrainian ones,” Farion said.
