FAS Russia refused to punish Samsung for sanctions against Crimea
The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia refused to consider a message on the Samsung website about “free delivery throughout Russia” a violation of the advertising law, although the company does not work with Crimea.
The corresponding response to the appeal was published by Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“FAS Russia does not see any violations in the fact that companies on the Russian market do not deliver to Crimea, even if their advertising states “delivery throughout Russia” - apparently, for them Crimea is not Russia. The answer is based on the example of Samsung.
And this situation is not only with Samsung, even if you write, you will get the same answer everywhere, be it Lukoil, Gazprom, Megafon, Auchan, Rosgosstrakh, Sberbank, etc. I am surprised when high-ranking officials condemn new sanctions over Crimea, but they have not noticed “internal Russian sanctions” for seven years,” comments Talipov.
