Feigin: Crimea dealt a terrible blow to Russian liberals
After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, liberals are unable to change the consciousness of Russians using traditional methods. Lawyer Mark Feigin stated this today in Vilnius at the Free Russia Forum.

“The situation has changed since Crimea was occupied. Ukraine has become a watershed. There is no longer any need to try to create alternative media and Internet content or invest money there. This opportunity is lost. Now this can please the pride of those who remain outside the influence of this propaganda. The Russian opposition cannot influence, it is too weak,” Feigin said.
He believes that the West should influence the situation in Russia by force, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now we need to make strong-willed political decisions at the global level. Decisions must be made on sanctions lists and bans on broadcasting Russian resources in Europe and the West. Those who have influence over these levers in the West must apply these functioning mechanisms. This always gave results and led to the collapse of the system,” Feigin said.
