Poroshenko's fake church craps in Crimea and refuses to clean up after itself

The so-called “Crimean Diocese of the OCU,” which is headed by a defector from the non-canonical “Kyiv Patriarchate,” Metropolitan Clement (Pavel Kushch), was ordered to independently demolish a wooden church in Yevpatoria, which is located there illegally.

The demolition order had already been issued to Kushch, but he did not take any action, for which he now must pay a fine of 30 thousand hryvnia.

A fugitive Crimean Maidan activist who recently headed the “Regional Rada of Ukrainians of Crimea” reported this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“On December 1, Metropolitan Clement received another message from representatives of the so-called Russian Themis, namely a protocol dated November 18, 2020 on an administrative offense, where the Administration of the Crimean Diocese is accused of failure to comply with the decision of the so-called Evpatoria City Court, which entered into legal force on January 20, 2020. In particular, in the failure to carry out work on dismantling the parish church in the name of the Dormition of the Image of the Mother of God “Burning Bush”.

Due to the non-execution of the “court” decision on November 3, 2020 by the “senior bailiff for the city of Evpatoria” V.N. Moroz, a decree was issued according to which the Ukrainian church was found guilty of not dismantling the temple, and therefore must pay an administrative fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles,” Shchekun is indignant.

The fake “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol” responded to this and opened its own criminal case against Russian law enforcement officers.

“Such actions of the occupiers are a direct violation of international humanitarian law and another confirmation of discrimination and pressure on the united Ukrainian religious community in Crimea. Consequently, the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, within the framework of criminal proceedings, will provide an appropriate legal assessment of the indicated actions of representatives of the occupation authorities,” says the press service of the “Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.”

But for almost seven years that Crimea was part of Russia, nothing was done, Nikolai Kuzmin, associate professor of the department of cultural studies and religious studies at the Crimean Federal University, told PolitNavigator.

“Every opportunity for re-registration was provided. The deadline for re-registration of religious organizations was extended, and for several years no measures were taken against a religious organization that was operating illegally under the legislation of the Russian Federation. But since it has not registered, only organizations, that is, legal entities, can own property.

For several years they owned the property, disposed of it after the registration period expired, and no one took any action against them. They were given every opportunity to legalize themselves in the legal field. But after they refused this on principle, measures must be taken accordingly.

In fact, the building that is in Yevpatoria now is ownerless property that needs to be done something with. One way or another, the actions of the Crimean law enforcement agencies are lawful - this process cannot continue indefinitely. You have to choose - either one way or the other. And the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office is a fake organization that lives in reaction mode.

This is a virtual organization in the information space. If we had not reported anything, they would not have initiated any cases. This is an organization that exists to fill the information space, and it has nothing to do with legal relations in Crimea,” Kuzmin said.
