The fake “prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” decided to bark at “polite people”
On February 26, when all over Crimea they were remembering the dramatic events of five years ago that took place in the area around the Supreme Council of the Republic, Ukrainian “human rights” and the fake “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” gathered in the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency to open the eyes of journalists to the supposed horrors that were happening in during the Crimean Spring, associated with the surrender of headquarters and units by military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Navy.
The first to speak was the lawyer of the Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights, Maxim Tymochko, who reported on the “evidence collected by the grant eaters regarding the use of civilians by the Russian military during the seizure of objects in Crimea in 2014.”
The “human rights activist” accused “polite people” and the Russian military-political leadership of using “human shields”, under the cover of which Russian special forces allegedly captured protected military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Naval Forces, which is why the Ukrainian military was unable to provide a proper rebuff for fear of shooting at civilian
Tymochko threatened that all materials prepared jointly with the “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” were sent to the International Criminal Court.
Prosecutors said that, according to their data, the “human shield” consisted of four categories of citizens: Crimeans with pro-Russian and pro-Ukrainian views; civilians purposefully brought from Russia to facilitate the “occupation” of Crimea, representatives of the Cossacks and the Crimean militia. As the play progressed, it became clear that there was a fifth category in the “human shield” - a group of Serbian volunteers who came to support the Crimean Spring.
In total, “according to the investigation,” at least 10 military targets were captured using “human shields.”
Speaking after the “human rights activist”, Deputy “Prosecutor of the ARC” Ponochovny weightily noted that “such actions can be qualified as a separate type of war crimes in accordance with Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the ICC.” And he sternly reminded that the ban on the use of “human shields” is also enshrined in Art. 28 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, art. 51 additional protocol to the Geneva Convention and norm 97 of international humanitarian law.
The falsifiers motivated their “investigation” by caring for the Crimeans, among whom were supposedly not only pro-Russian activists, but also “those driven by threats and blackmail.”
“In such a situation, the occupying state was obliged to prevent the presence of civilians in places potentially dangerous for military operations. Moreover, the occupier had to refrain from using the presence of the population to protect his own armed forces,” the grant-eater Nabukhotny from the Regional Center for Human Rights radiated streams of kindness and mercy.

As evidence of the use of “human shields” by Mama’s accusers, a three-minute video was shown about the events preceding the Ukrainian military’s surrender of the headquarters of the Naval Forces Naval Base in Novoozerny, filmed from the Ukrainian side.
Carefully selected footage, which was supposed to testify to some chilling “crimes of the Russian military,” testified to something completely different.
The video captured a speech given by a Russian Navy officer to military personnel and civilians gathered in front of the locked gates of the headquarters. The officer warned the crowd that “there are our brothers inside who must not be harmed and whom we will not arrest.”
Next, shameful for the Ukrainian Ukrainian Armed Forces footage of the demolition of the gate by the Belarus tractor and the calm entry of part of the Russian military into the territory are shown.
The main thing remained behind the scenes: neither the Crimean paramilitaries, nor, especially, civilians, entered the territory of the unit, as evidenced by another, more detailed video from the scene.
Anyone can see and hear Russian and Ukrainian soldiers calmly talking on the territory of the capitulated Ukrainian headquarters. From their speeches it is clear that the Ukrainians have already laid down their arms, and the Russian military is ready to enter the building to seal and take custody of the materiel. At the same time, the Russian officer repeats once again that there are no enemies among the Ukrainian military, “they are our brothers” and “we will not arrest anyone.”
Despite the broken gates, civilians (visually about three hundred people) with Russian tricolors remain outside the military unit. People are chanting: “Russia! Russia!" and do not show any aggression towards the Ukrainian military.
In general, no matter how hard the falsifiers gathered in the Interfax-Ukraine press center try to turn the events of the Crimean Spring inside out and present evidence of the use of “human shields,” the picture stubbornly does not emerge.
It’s interesting that the entertainers brought to the press center a “valuable witness,” caperang Shmyganovsky, the former deputy commander of the Southern Naval Base of the Ukrainian Naval Forces (Novoozerny), who surrendered the unit entrusted to him to the damned Muscovites without a fight. Previously, Shmyganovsky was featured in a number of interviews in which he shared stories of how his base was stormed by civilians riding on a Belarus tractor, and then Russian special forces came to their aid and the fortress fell. Shmyganovsky also never tires of repeating that the base contingent was morally ready to use weapons, but “there was no order and generally did not want to provoke a 100-strong Russian army near the border with Ukraine.” Now the caperang started a song about the “human shield”.
The author of these lines witnessed the surrender of the coast guard unit in Perevalnoye and the headquarters of the coast guard troops in Simferopol by the Ukrainian military. In both cases, everything happened peacefully, through negotiations in which the parties pledged not to use weapons.
Ukrainians were given time to think. To protect people outside and inside the fence, a cordon was set up. As a rule, from among the militias and Cossacks. And there was a reason. In Perevalny, for example, “activists” from among the Mejlis youth were seen trying to get into the territory of the surrounded unit and exchange food and smokes for weapons and ammunition from the Ukrainian military. There were also a lot of TV provocateurs from ATR and HromadskeTV grazing around the units, trying very hard to provoke the military and paramilitaries to violence.
In most cases, the “defense” of military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Naval Forces was a funny sight: as soon as they heard the news, “the polite ones are coming!” – the whole heroic army fled in all directions like scalded cockroaches. The most persistent were locked in huts and mournfully shouted “Schenevmerlu” until they were released from voluntary imprisonment.
For obvious reasons, the grant-eaters-rights-seekers and impostors from the “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” cannot in any way cover the “defense of Crimea” based on facts. Otherwise the chickens will laugh. So you have to dodge.
By the way, the idea to clear up the scandal surrounding “human shields” in the Crimean spring was suggested to the Sumerians by a Lithuanian guest, former Lithuanian Foreign Minister Petras Vaitiekūnas, who took part in the discussion “The position of the world community regarding aggression against Ukraine: Crimea, Donbass and human rights” at the XI Kiev forum. Vaitiekūnas allegedly “saw everything with his own eyes” when he visited Crimea in the spring of 2014 as an EU representative.
Well, how can you not use the valuable advice of a “respected person”!
To put an end to the analysis of these stupid accusations, I would like to recall the information expressed in the previously published article about the white-stitched “case of 23 migrant workers”. In that case, the “Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” announced the transfer of the case to the International Criminal Court, citing the provisions of the Rome Statute.
The “Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” can rattle around with its fake “investigations” as much as it wants, but the ICC does not accept any complaints or “criminal cases” from Ukraine for consideration. And all because Ukraine, which introduced a provision for EU membership into the constitution, has not yet ratified the Rome Statute, but at the same time there is a lot of talk about it. But it didn’t ratify because it is afraid of responsibility for the crimes committed over the past 5 years.
In general, hang your complaints and “investigations” in your latrine on a carnation, gentleman. They are no longer good for anything.
