“It was established that one of the so-called “company” members of the Crimean Self-Defense, together with other members of this formation, at the beginning of March 2014 in Simferopol, out of hooligan motives, using a specially adapted and pre-prepared object, caused bodily harm to a citizen of Ukraine who was on the territory of the peninsula Crimea in order to support the Ukrainian military and pro-Ukrainian activists, and is currently a people's deputy of Ukraine. At the same time, it was established that the same “company commander” was involved in the illegal imprisonment, accompanied by torture and bodily harm, of a citizen of Ukraine, who also expressed his pro-Ukrainian position on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the fake Ukrainian “department” said in a statement.
The “prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” stated that “the issue of placing the specified person on the state and international wanted list is currently being resolved.”
