Official representative of the DPR UNM Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to data received from the headquarters of the occupying forces of Ukraine, it became known about the facts of write-off of ammunition and fuel by unit commanders in forward positions. Thus, brigade commanders report to the headquarters of the occupation forces about the execution of 20 to 25 shellings every day, but we record no more than 5-7 shellings. The difference between shellings every day amounts to several tons of fuel sold to the local population and dozens of ammunition, which are then removed from the zone of operation of the occupying forces or transferred to the bandit groups of the Right Sector and the Ukrainian Volunteer Army,” Bezsonov said.
He also said that in order to verify the facts of overestimation of the number of attacks and write-off of materiel, the commander of the Ukrainian group Sergei Naev sent commissions from among the officers of the JFO headquarters to the formations and units located on the first line.
“The most serious commission of the higher headquarters arrived at the 72nd mechanized brigade in the Gorlovka direction, where the greatest difference was recorded between the artillery shelling carried out on paper and carried out in fact. Thus, the war criminal Tatus daily reported at least 25 of his attacks on the territory of the DPR, even using cannon artillery, but in fact the ammunition was written off, and fuels and lubricants for armored vehicles and support vehicles were sold to the population,” said a representative of the defense department.
