The fake law on Donbass has been extended. Ze wants to fool Russia like Poroshenko
The Ukrainian parliament has extended for another year the law, which only in words gives Donbass a special status. This law was adopted under Petro Poroshenko without coordination of the text with the LDPR. The law was intended to imitate the implementation of the Minsk agreements by Kiev, since in practice the special status of Donbass did not work. Poroshenko himself admitted that this is Kyiv’s strategy - to pretend that Ukraine is implementing peace agreements and provide the West with an excuse to extend sanctions against Russia.
Today the bill was presented by Servant of the People deputy Alexander Kornienko. According to him, the only thing that has changed in the bill since Poroshenko’s time is the number “2019” to “2020”.
Poroshenko himself criticized the results of Vladimir Zelensky’s trip to negotiations in Paris.
“The first is the appearance in the Paris communiqué of the notorious “Steinmeier formula” imposed by Putin. Secondly, the Ukrainian delegation failed to be included, and the issue of a road map for the implementation of the Minsk agreements was not even raised. Third, the developments regarding the organization of peacekeeping forces with a mandate from the UN Security Council have gone down the drain,” Poroshenko said.
He mentioned and excited against himself criminal case. Nevertheless, Poroshenko decided to support the extension of the law in order to “destroy the plans” of Vladimir Putin.
Poroshenko recalled that it was the Minsk agreements that made it possible to “save” Ukraine in 2014 and impose sanctions on Russia.
In turn, the leader of Oppoplatform - For Life, Viktor Medvedchuk, criticized Zelensky and his team for the fact that extending the old law for a year is all that the current government could achieve.
And MP from Batkivshchyna Sergei Sobolev drew attention to the absurdity of extending the law, since it indicated that elections recognized by Kiev should have been held in Donbass back in 2014.
As a result, the bill was still supported by 320 deputies out of 381 present.
