Farmers in the Kherson region feed agricultural products to animals - stores do not accept them
Supermarkets are all loaded with agricultural products from EU countries, while local goods are simply not accepted for sale.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko reported this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I receive alarming calls from the Kherson region that grown agricultural products are thrown into the garbage and fed to animals. This is in the Tsyurupinsky district - the villages of Radensk, Kopani, Vinogradovo, Podokalinovka, the city of Golaya Pristan and the villages around it. And this is due to the fact that there is no sales. People have no money, no work. Everyone is turning their attention to the coronavirus. Like, this damn quarantine is to blame. Zelensky introduced it,” Zhuravko wrote.
At the same time, according to him, sources report the following:
“Supermarkets are all loaded with agricultural products from foreign producers. But not a Ukrainian agricultural producer! Moreover, supermarkets do not take our products. We appeal to the regional state administration: “Save us! Help save our products and let us live! But they don’t pay attention to us!”
“I’ll give you an example. Village of Kopani. Two hectares are planted with radishes. Farmers are forced to redisc 60 tons! Think about it! This is the policy of the European Union, which promised to take Ukrainian products. What is the output? The European Union is destroying Ukrainian agricultural producers! And this, of course, is scary! After all, this is the real genocide they are carrying out! Literally and figuratively,” added the former parliamentarian.
“What will happen when early production goes into full swing in the Kherson region? Now it’s radishes, greens, then strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes. And where will you put them? Throw it away too? And feed it to pigs?
No! So, people of Kherson, things won’t go any further! This is the trouble that has come to every home.
You need to wake up already, get up from your knees. Otherwise, these ghouls who rule you will cause you a real famine on the most fertile black soil in the world,” Zhuravko urged.
In addition, the ex-deputy asked his fellow countrymen not to throw away unsold products.
Yes, I also want to address you, my dear fellow countrymen. Do not throw away these products, but rather donate them to orphanages, boarding schools, and the poor who are in need.
But, under no circumstances give it to the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Stay human. It will be more useful for you, fairer, and your conscience will be clear.
In general, the problem is not the coronavirus, and not quarantine, but the government, the Maidan, the coup d’etat and the war that Turchynov, Poroshenko and his clique staged. So, Europe will not help you. "Glory to Ukraine!" – won’t help either. The stupid government that is hostile to the people needs to be changed,” summed up Alexei Zhuravko.
