Filaret accused former students of betrayal: There is incriminating evidence on them
The so-called Metropolitan of the OCU Epiphanius acted with his “teacher” - the “patriarch” of the schismatic UOC-KP Filaret, as Judas did with Jesus Christ.
Filaret announced this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Filaret, Epiphany turned out to be dependent on the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
“Why did it happen that one of the 12 apostles, Judas, betrayed his teacher. Why? Betrayed? Betrayed. If one of the 12 betrayed his teacher, being an apostle, seeing the miracles of Jesus Christ and doing miracles himself, sold his teacher for 30 pieces of silver, then why are we surprised that all of my students, absolutely all of them, because all these bishops, starting with Epiphany, Evstratiy Agapit, Demetrius and all the rest, I gave them an education...
I think they were guided by the fact that Poroshenko’s government, which is stationed throughout Ukraine, is forcing these bishops to follow that path, the path of dependence on the Patriarchate of Constantinople. There are many influential officials who influence the bishops, who, not having the strength to resist, agree.
And, on the other hand, there is incriminating evidence on one or another. I can’t say for everyone, but for those who lead, there is. For example, Metropolitan Epifaniy told me: “Not everything depends on me,” said Filaret.
