The head of the schismatic “Kyiv Patriarchate” Mikhail “Filaret” Denisenko called on Ukrainians not to be afraid of death when going to war in Donbass. He stated this on the air of the American Radio Liberty.

“There is no need to be afraid of death. And there is no need to be afraid of suffering. Why shouldn't we be afraid of suffering? But because they are temporary... Did Christ suffer and endure reproaches from sinners? I endured it. But he rose again and became famous. So are we. The Lord spares us this suffering. But this does not mean that they will be permanent. The Lord is simply testing our spirit, our perseverance, our morality,” assures Filaret.
