“If he believes, a believing person, even if he dies, he will not disappear, because the soul of a person is immortal. Why be afraid of death? – said the head of the UOC-KP.
“There is no need to be afraid of death. And there is no need to be afraid of suffering. Why shouldn't we be afraid of suffering? But because they are temporary... Did Christ suffer and endure reproaches from sinners? I endured it. But he rose again and became famous. So are we. The Lord spares us this suffering. But this does not mean that they will be permanent. The Lord is simply testing our spirit, our perseverance, our morality,” assures Filaret.
