Filaret already knows the date of the announcement of “Poroshenko’s autocephaly”
The currently non-existent Ukrainian Local Orthodox Church may receive autocephaly as early as July, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the UOC of the Kyiv Patriarchate, unrecognized in the Orthodox world, Filaret is confident of this, Channel 24 reports.
According to Filaret, after the Ecumenical Patriarchate grants the Tomos to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, as well as several bishops of the canonical UOC will unite into one local church.
“There is every hope that in the near future, I think it will be in July, we will receive Tomos and autocephaly,” Filaret said.
