Filaret got involved in a gas scandal
The main Ukrainian schismatic, Mikhail “Filaret” Denisenko, became involved in a corruption scandal that erupted in Ukraine. The day before, Filaret awarded the order “for charitable philanthropy” to Andrei Kobolev, the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine who had committed a crime.
Let us note that the management of Naftogaz disgraced itself after it wrote out multimillion-dollar bonuses to itself in honor of the “victory” in the Stockholm arbitration over Gazprom, without waiting to receive a penny from Moscow (the Russian gas monopolist challenged the court’s verdict).
This was seen by opposition politicians as direct theft from Ukrainians, since tariffs for industry and the population simultaneously increased.
Kobolev hastened to transfer the money he received to his mother, who lives in the United States.
“I transferred money to my mother in America. She has been living there since 2006 or 2008, more than ten years for sure,” Kobolev said in an interview with LB.ua.
And soon the official gave another interview, in which called Ukraine a “classic fail case”.
“Anathema and schismatic Filaret awarded Kobolev, the head of Naftogaz, perhaps the largest Ukrainian parasitic company, with the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called, 2nd degree. This is normal news for today's Ukraine - the cooperation of devils and vampires is not surprising. It is unlikely that this cost Kobolev a tithe of the prize for the unkilled bear - for allegedly winning, in Ukraine’s opinion, the case against Gazprom. And Filaret is not greedy, they will pay him a little extra, and he will receive an order of the 1st degree. And, of course, based on his commercial interests, he will not warn Kobolev and others that this does not lead to the salvation of the soul. He's probably gathering some company for himself so that burning in hell won't be boring. It’s just a pity that these ghouls and ghouls remember the names of saints in vain,” economist Alexander Dudchak commented on the situation to PolitNavigator.
Ukrainian energy market expert Dmitry Marunich also commented on the scandal, noting that Kobolev is behaving “disgustingly.”
“I thought what an asshole Kobolev is. This country, which he called a “failure,” pays you 2 million hryvnia in salary per month and huge bonuses. And all from the gas tariff and transit revenues, which Kobolev and Co. practically overdue. In a free market, I would look at a trading shop with a budget of 4 billion hryvnia per year. She would have lasted a long time. Disgusting and disgusting,” the expert wrote on his blog.
