Mikhail Denisenko (Filaret), the head of the so-called UOC-KP, unrecognized in the Orthodox world, stated this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
“The Ukrainian people will not accept the decision that the primate will be in the rank of metropolitan. Won't accept this. Therefore, whether they want it or not, the Ukrainian Church will be headed by a patriarch. Because there was Patriarch Mstislav, there was Patriarch Vladimir, now I am the patriarch,” said the head of the schismatics.
