Filaret members boast about the flow of new parishioners in Crimea
Simferopol, December 12 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – In Crimea, the number of people who want to pray in the Ukrainian “Mova” in the remaining “churches” of the unrecognized UOC of the Kyiv Patriarchate does not decrease, not complaining about the lack of visitors.

“Father Yaroslav,” who leads the service in western Crimea, stated this to the Kyiv newspaper “Crimean Svetlitsa”.
“The composition of our parishioners is now constantly changing; within six months, 80% are already different people. Those who visited the churches of the Kyiv Patriarchate earlier mostly left. Those who replaced them have already left. But from somewhere new people come who want to pray in Ukrainian. I can’t say that our life is peaceful. From time to time someone tries to make money at our expense, and we cannot know in advance how this will end. That’s why I took my family home, to the Lviv region,” noted the Filaret member.
Meanwhile, writes “Crimean Svetlitsa”, some parishioners, having received Russian passports and handed over Ukrainian ones, are simply afraid to visit the “churches” of the UOC-KP, since they are civil servants of the Russian Federation.
