This was reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Thus, the press service of the Philaret Church announced on September 10 that a temple built by the UOC-KP was consecrated in Ugrinov. However, it turned out that the first stone for construction was laid back in 98 by parishioners of the UOC.

“At that time, and for many years in a row, the built temple was empty. It was planned to bring the dead there for farewell before burial. However, no one did this, and internal work was suspended; the crosses on the church were not even consecrated,” the message says.

However, this did not stop the Filaretites from holding their ceremony and calling the temple belonging to the UOC-KP.
