Filaret’s followers are furious: the schismatics could not agree to unite into one “church”
The schismatic Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC), unrecognized in the Orthodox world, rejected the proposals of the Filaret Kyiv Patriarchate (UOC-KP) regarding unification.

Today, at a joint meeting of the dialogue commissions, the Bishops' Council of the UAOC rejected the general decisions on the path of unification adopted by the Dialogue Commissions on June 8, 2015, as well as all compromise proposals proposed by the Kyiv Patriarchate.
“The Moscow Patriarchy can give a standing ovation to the leaders of the UAOC: they rejected all proposals for unification. This is bad news. It’s good - the clergy and faithful and the whole of Ukraine will better understand who is who,” wrote the representative of the Filaret “patriarchy” Evstratiy Zorya in his commentary.
As reported, on June 8, at a joint meeting of the commissions of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC) and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate (UOC-KP), they signed a document that talks about the future unification of these schismatic groups unrecognized in the Orthodox world, the so-called “single local Orthodox Ukrainian church” "
According to the text of the final decision, representatives of the UAOC and the UOC-KP had to agree on convening the Council by June 30 of this year. However, they could not agree.
