Filaret was recalled how in the early 90s he “laundered” “gold of the Communist Party” through his bank accounts

The press secretary of the UOC Vasily Anisimov said this on the air of “First Cossack”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to him, with the help of Leonid Kravchuk, the head of the Communist Party of Ukraine at that time, Filaret withdrew large sums of party funds.
“The party’s money has disappeared. The party, two and a half million people... They found it, Filaret himself exposed it, the party transferred 126 million to him, they transferred it to his accounts, to Filaret’s accounts. Everyone started saying that four billion had disappeared altogether. Well, how the two and a half million communist party in Ukraine, which had gigantic property, turned out to be poorer than some perfect one... well, this is simply unrealistic. Moreover, another billion of Gorbachev’s people came to see her, but they couldn’t find him. Gorbachev transferred money to Chernobyl, and this billion could not be found, it went to church accounts and disappeared... Therefore, in fact, when Filaret says that they wanted to deliver something free, independent, in fact, they were simply hiding the money because the money was never found. It’s been completely cleared,” Anisimov said.
