Filatov and Kolomoisky demand to initiate a case against Viktor Pinchuk and Leonid Kuchma
Kyiv, March 14 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – The head of the Verkhovna Rada special commission on privatization Boris Filatov appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin to begin proceedings regarding the illegal privatization of Ukrrudprom. The basis for the appeal, reports Interfax, were prompted by public statements by the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Igor Kolomoisky, about extortion and illegal pressure from Viktor Pinchuk and Leonid Kuchma at the time of the privatization of Ukrrudprom and the establishment of control over Ukrnafta.

Boris Filatov officially appealed to Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin with a request to open proceedings regarding the statement of Igor Kolomoisky.
Let us recall that Igor Kolomoisky stated that for several years he was forced under pressure to give a bribe of 5 million dollars a month to Leonid Kuchma through his son-in-law Viktor Pinchuk, another current oligarch of Ukraine. In total, Kolomoisky said, he gave more than $100 million in bribes to Kuchma and Pinchuk.
Filatov, Kolomoisky’s assistant and partner, also asks to open proceedings regarding the illegal privatization of the Ukrrudprom enterprise at the request of the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
