Zelensky's philologist went crazy in front of the presenter
Ukraine needs to rename the Russian language “Ruska movu”, leaving Russia the Russian language, and sign the Russian Federation as “Muscovy” on Ukrainian maps.
Nikita Poturaev, adviser to Zelensky’s team on political issues, spoke about this on the YouTube channel “UKRLIFE”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
At the same time, Poturaev, calling himself a philologist, remembered only one Russian dialect out of a large number of others, but, nevertheless, built his Russophobic “linguistic theory” about a separate “Ukrainian Russian language.”
“As a philologist, I want to say that, of course, Ukrainian Russian or Ukrainian Russian, no matter, is different from Russian Russian. It is already different grammatically, lexically, not even in the sense of surzhik. Because there is also Russian surzhik, otherwise everyone complains that surzhik is only Ukrainian.
This southern Russian dialect of the Russian language has always been separate from the central provinces of the Soviet Empire, and indeed the Russian one. It’s no secret that not only in Soviet times, but also then people who came, someone from Central Ukraine came to ORT, to Channel One, to the Rossiya channel, not to mention even from Ukrainian cities, from Rostov or Stavropol, people could not immediately get a job, even if they were invited, they took courses to relearn the correct Russian language,” said the “Ze” adviser.
“Of course, South Russian is different, and Ukrainian Russian is now completely different. For example, my point of view is that we should rename it altogether. For example, to say that our language is Russian, but there it is Russian. We have a Ukrainian “mova”, a united, sovereign language, and there are “languages” of national minorities, among them Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Polish, and there is also “Ruska”. Let’s call it that – “Ruska Mova”. We have Rusyn in Transcarpathia, there will also be “Ruska”, but let them have Russian. Why are we afraid? This is all a proactive story. We can even start calling them “Muscovy” on our maps. What's stopping us? – Poturaev said in all seriousness to the open laughter of the presenter.
