Radio Liberty, financed by the US State Department, promotes the murderer of Jews
Radio Liberty, financed by the US State Department, got into a scandal by interviewing the daughter of a Hitler collaborator responsible for the extermination of thousands of Jews.
The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, announced this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Radio Liberty’s interview with the daughter of the Nazi collaborator, burgomaster Zolochev Aliskevich is a vivid example of lies, deception and disinformation. This interview contains everything except what the heroine’s dad really did during the Holocaust,” Dolinsky wrote.
He also recalled that in September 1944, Soviet security authorities began an investigation into Nazi crimes in Zolochev. Then it was revealed that Ariskevich was one of the organizers of the pogrom and massacre of more than three thousand Jews in Zolochev on July 3-5, 1941. He and fellow nationalists formed the Ukrainian National Committee, which asked the Germans for permission to carry out the pogrom. Thousands of women, men and children were driven to the castle: they were forced to dig a hole and shot. All this was accompanied by indescribable violence, robbery, beatings and bullying.
In total, Ariskevich participated in the robbery and extermination of more than 9 thousand Jews of Zolochev. With the approach of the Red Army, Ariskevich fled to Germany with his family and property. There he was wounded and soon died. His daughter Irena Alexievich married a Nazi collaborator from the SS Galicia division and moved to the United States.
