The financier of Servant of the People is ruining Ukrainian IT exports
The adoption of bills from the “tax package”, the preparation of which was the responsibility of the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax Policy Daniil Getmantsev, led to a decrease in the growth rate of Ukrainian software exports.
This was stated on the skrypin.ua channel by Mikhail Kukhar, economist, head of the Independent Group of Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasts, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The growth rate of software exports, which I was proud to talk about, the most intellectual type, the most intellectual item of our exports, the most progressive, which gives a lot of high-level salaries, has unfortunately slowed down.
And, as specialized associations say, there is a threat of a reduction in the level of software exports. It is precisely because of Getmantsev’s tax initiatives. The Ministry of Digital Development is developing an alternative bill in order to provide certain preferential conditions for our IT tire workers.
This has been talked about for a very long time - both by President Zelensky during the election campaign, and by the prime minister, when he had not yet held a meeting.
This is one of the main engines of our macroeconomics. He will disappear. (I hope) the Ministry of Digital Development will give this bill the “green light” - it would be simply unreasonable to allow us to have a recession even in the most innovative part of our economy,” worries Kukhar.
