Finnish supervision found violations amounting to 200 million rubles. in the work of Crimean “scavengers”
Simferopol, October 1 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The Crimean republican enterprise “Clean City”, which on July 24, together with all its property, became the property of Simferopol, worked with major financial irregularities. According to the press service of the Finnish Supervision Service of the Republic, as a result of the audit, illegal expenses and good “bonuses” to the salary of the former director were discovered.
Thus, according to information from Finnish Supervision, bypassing the financial plan of a budget-funded enterprise, expenses amounting to 157 million rubles were incurred, which resulted from the purchase of goods at an inflated cost. For example, the Clean City enterprise bought two semi-trailers at the expense of the budget and overpaid 6,8 million rubles for them. In addition, the former director of the enterprise, Valery Gumenyuk, was illegally increased in salary and paid a bonus of 47 thousand rubles, which in total led to damage of 7 thousand rubles.
Now the department has handed over the inspection materials to law enforcement agencies.
“Information about the results of the audit was sent to the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea, the audit materials were transferred to the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,” Finnadzor noted.

Let us remind you that the Clean City enterprise is actually a monopolist in waste removal in Simferopol. The government of the republic created it by its decision in 2011, and during its three years of operation, the enterprise managed to appear in scandals and legal proceedings. So, last year the company planned to build a waste processing complex in a residential area of Simferopol. But after public protests, this idea had to be postponed. In addition, the former tenant of the Simferopol solid waste landfill, the Simeko company, has repeatedly accused Clean City of non-payment of money for garbage removal. The latter, by the way, did not hide this fact and justified themselves by the fact that there was no proper funding from the budget. Which, as it turned out, as a result of Finnish Supervision inspections, did not prevent people from buying equipment at inflated prices and paying a premium to the director.
