A Finnish company confiscated the circulation of its magazine following a denunciation by a journalist because of the picture “Swallow’s Nest”
The Finnish railway company VR has withdrawn the circulation of the magazine, which it publishes jointly with Russian Railways and distributes on Allegro trains (Helsinki-St. Petersburg). The reason was an advertisement for trips to Crimea placed in a magazine, Yle reports.

The article, entitled “Back to Crimea,” was published in three languages and talks about the resumption of transportation by rail and other transport to the peninsula.
Finnish journalist Arja Paananen posted a message about this on her Facebook; VR representatives quickly responded and promised to seize the magazine.

A spokesman for the Finnish railway company VR, Mika Heyari, said that the controversial material was published in the Russian Railways section, and Finnish railway workers do not provide trips to the peninsula. He also noted that the Finns will discuss the current situation with their Russian colleagues.
The press service of Russian Railways said that they do not have any information about the seizure of the magazine. VR representatives did not contact them about this.
Let us recall that the European Union banned local tour operators from organizing tours to Crimea after its annexation to Russia in 2014.
