Firtash is already on the “cutting table” - the disgraced oligarch was removed from his post as head of the Federation of Employers
Today, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FRU) removed the head of the Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash from his post and elected in his place the chairman of the supervisory board of the open joint-stock company Vetropack Gostomel Glass Factory and the president of the Association of Glass Industry Enterprises Dmitry Oleynik.

It is noted that in 2010–2011 he already headed this organization, and since the end of 2011 he has been deputy chairman of the FRU for economic issues. The Federation of Employers of Ukraine was founded in 2002; it unites more than 80 sectoral and territorial employers' organizations. The organization represents the interests of about 8500 enterprises.
Since 2011, the organization has been headed by the Ukrainian oligarch and one of the owners of the Inter TV channel, Dmitry Firtash, who is now in Austria and has problems with American justice.
Let us remind you that Firtash was detained on March 12, 2015 in Vienna at the request of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation; since then he has been in Austria, awaiting a decision on extradition to the United States, where he is suspected of bribing Indian authorities in order to ensure the participation of his company in the project for the development of a titanium deposit.

Journalist of the “1+1” channel Alexander Dubinsky sees a political trace in Firtash’s removal today. According to him, Poroshenko got rid of one of those who made him president of Ukraine in 2014.
“Firtash continues to be squeezed out of Ukrainian assets and politics. Today a meeting of the council of the Federation of Employers, of which Firtash is the president, is due to take place. My sources claim that following the meeting, he will be removed from his position “due to the inability to take an active part in the work of the FRU council.” Instead, Dmitry Oleinik will be appointed president of the Federation,” Dubinsky wrote on his social network page this morning – even before the FRU meeting..
According to the “1+1” journalist, Anna Bezlyudnaya, head of the Inter Media Group, “who, on behalf of the “Viennese prisoner,” oversees the information policy of Inter,” may also lose her position in the FRU.
Alexander Dubinsky also voiced the version that problems for Firtash are being created by his former partner Sergei Levochkin, who wants to take over the leadership of the Opposition Bloc and control of the Inter TV channel.
“Someone says that the Presidential Administration is working against Dmitry Vasilyevich (with the same goals).
What is clear is that Firtash is already on the cutting table. And this is just the beginning of the skinning,” states the journalist.
