Ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk old. Still, 83 years old is not a sheep who spit. Old people at this age are usually tormented by various age-related disorders, from Alzheimer's syndrome to banal sclerosis. But Kravchuk, who has a stable high income and quality medical care, experiences flashbacks from time to time.

More recently, Kravchuk indulged in lyrical memories of his meetings with ex-President Yanukovych. And not just, but at the moment when “Euromaidan” went off the rails thanks to the provocation of “their children.”

One piece of memoirs is worthy of being quoted:

“On Friday [November 29] he flew from Europe, where he refused to sign the documents of association [between Ukraine and the European Union], on Saturday there was a hunt, and the first thing they asked him about when they met: “Viktor Fedorovich, tell us how was". And everyone praised him very, very strongly, that he did the right thing... And ours praised... that it was impossible otherwise. When I said one phrase: “How is this possible? Yesterday it’s possible, today it’s not possible?!” – They started putting pressure on me. Not Viktor Fedorovich, but people close to him. To which Viktor Fedorovich stood up and looked at them: “Shut up! The first president of Ukraine can say whatever he thinks and whatever he wants. And don’t forget who you would be if there had not been the first president and the Belovezhskaya Agreement had not been signed.” He said it and everyone knows about it.", the former president recalled.

After the hunt, according to Kravchuk, everyone went to dinner and then to sing karaoke. “I didn’t react to this, because, strictly speaking, the situation was difficult, and we already knew that students were gathering on the Maidan. When the hunt was over, we went to dinner, sang songs... what do they call it when they sing on television? Viktor Fedorovich always sang karaoke. He had a good voice...”

Priceless. Simply put, the “first president of Ukraine” made an alibi for Bloody Panda, washing him away from shedding innocent calf’s blood, which the Maidan troubadours accused Mr. Vegetable of. After all, according to their version, Yanukovych, almost with a Mauser in his hands, led the Berkut to drive the unfortunate students head over heels into the asphalt.

Damn it's a rollback from the Maidan approval!

It’s not for nothing that Kravchuk is known as “a cunning fox with a keen sense of smell.” The rapid decline in the standard of living of Ukrainians, hatred of Poroshenko’s government and the waning international respect for Ukraine in the world is causing a new trend in Ukrainian society: “immediately return Yanukovych to us! And so that a dollar costs eight hryvnia!” Kravchuk’s internal detector subtly picks up the signals and gives the command to the tongue to turn its shafts from this-this-this-any “giddiness” to slight nostalgia for Yanukovych.

What if it comes to the point that Ukraine loses its nostalgia for Yanukovych, and the ghost of a proletarian revolution begins to haunt it? Apparently, then Pan Kravchuk will take out from under the floorboard his party card, hidden for such an occasion, and indulge in memories of how he had a chance to hunt in Zavidovo with Brezhnev, help Khrushchev sow corn in the fields of Ukraine and one day while away the night in a historical hut in Razliv, absorbing from the world ether of the idea of universal social justice.

Reading the flashback-confessions of “President Number One”, they begin to get pretty freaked out and guess about something, not just some “unseen” giants who didn’t care or were disgusted by any “Euromaidans” and Banderization, but the real pillars of the regime. It begins to seem to them that in the process of implementing the Beautiful Independence project, something has gone awry. You just need to rewind time and understand where exactly the mistake was made.

A very good illustration is the recent post by the former speaker of the SBU under Turchynov, Stanislav Rechinsky.

Thus, Pan Rechinsky falls into prostration under the impression of Kravchuk’s Karachi-Belovezhskaya revelations: “We are unlucky with the ruling class. They are economists of their own pocket, not of the country. For whom Independence is just an economic and career chance.”

But Yanukovych gets the most from Rechinsky: “Yanukovych very clearly understands that if there were no Independence, he would not be the President, but the director of the motor depot.”

I rolled my lip. To become the director of a motor depot in the USSR (the responsible manager of a large national economic facility), one had to have a specialized education, have no criminal record, and preferably a member of the CPSU. Rechinsky, accustomed to the fact that in the absence of “independence” ministries and departments are headed by yesterday’s farce and “thimbles,” is dumb and winces. Yanukovych is the caretaker of the storage room with buckets and mops at the Soviet motor depot, where people were imprisoned for large-scale theft, or even had their foreheads smeared with brilliant green.

At the same time, Rechinsky does not notice, or prefers not to notice, that long before the “supply manager” Yanukovych came to power, the first two Ukrainian presidents were not thieves at the top, but completely respectable people who reached commanding heights in the USSR - Kravchuk and Kuchma. Moreover, both “heroes of yesterday” degraded under “Independence”.

However, no. Kravchuk was the first to change his shoes, ceasing to serve the system that made him a man, when serving the system became unprestigious and unprofitable. And what, no one saw the cunning mimicry, ready to betray in time, when they voted in the first “independent” presidential elections?

Khoruzhevsky Beeherd and Professor Vegetable were nobody, but became everyone only thanks to the “independence” system of negative selection of elites. One – through the “third round of elections”, the second – as a product of a painful choice between a bad one and another “third round”. Did anyone really have any illusions about Yushchenko after he launched Bank Ukraina around the world and robbed its depositors? And this is ten years before his presidency. Has the entire country suddenly lost its brains and memory?

But the icing on the cake of Svidomo’s personnel policy was the rocket take-off of the “social elevator”, ensured by the victory of “gidnost”: the Cossack Gavrilyuk. From homeless people to deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. The triumph of Maidan ochlocracy. A little more, and Gavrilyuks will end up in the “presidential posada” straight from the ditch, bypassing career growth and other unnecessary stages of life’s journey. Pure savings. Why does Ukraine need a president with a university education if Poroshenko demonstrates his uselessness every day, and all questions are coughed up at a meeting of oligarchs?

The complete lack of systemic thinking does not give the guardians the understanding that building a viable state out of crap is obviously a losing option. What else can you call the building material of “independence”, based on widespread theft and discrimination against entire strata of the population?

However, the guards are rewinding the movie and believe that the “zrada” is buried in the fact that the “Svidomo” of the first wave – Chernovol, Lukyanenko, Khmara and others – could not stay in power. They say that these beacons and titans would not allow Ukrainian statehood to slide into complete UG.

Amazing idealism. “Svidomo” of Chernovol and others had a very clear commercial basis. From Chernovol’s biography it is known that Eduard Krech, the former director of the Slavyansk Soda Plant, spent his days and nights in his office. Krech plundered the enterprise and took the money over the hill. Chornovol provided Krech with a valuable service - he helped him become a people’s deputy in 1998, and Krech financed Rukhov’s newspaper “Chas,” the editor-in-chief of which, quite by chance, was Chornovol’s son Taras. Apparently, “respected people” provided favors to each other for their high ideology and beautiful eyes.

And this is just one episode from the chain of “feats” of “lighthouses and titans of Ukraine.”

In general, the “Svidomites” have already grown to the point of thinking “the Svoboda party is the bottom and a mess, and Biletsky is unpredictable,” but when they are given arguments “it doesn’t matter who will be the president of Ukraine - the system is set up to produce manure and increase social entropy - it is impossible, as in the joke about the Snow Queen, to form the word “ETERNITY” from the letters Zh, O, P and A, the reaction of the “spilnota” is unanimous and in the style of May 2014 – “fleece, burn.”

It’s clear that the fable “Quartet” by the Muscovite writer Krylov is not a decree or food for thought for “Svidomo”. An unprofitable brothel will persistently move furniture according to Feng Shui and shift employees from bed to bed until grace descends on it from above.

This means that the collective Sashko Balaganenko will continue to saw cast-iron weights until golden filings appear, from time to time looking up from the saw to ponder the next epiphany, and ex-President Kravchuk, while on pills, will continue to have more and more amazing flashbacks.
