The United Donbass Foundation reported on the results of its work - more than 1,5 million rubles of financial assistance were paid to applicants

Representatives of the United Donbass Fund reported at a press conference in Donetsk on the results of their activities in providing financial assistance to residents of the DPR and the “Ukrainian” part of the Donetsk region.

As stated by Oleg Balykin, Chairman of the United Donbass Foundation, both residents of the DPR and residents of territories controlled by Ukraine became recipients of cash assistance. Among the settlements named by Balykin are Donetsk, Debaltsevo, Maryinsky and Konstantinovsky and other areas of the Donetsk region.

“During the work of the United Donbass Fund, 1 rubles were paid at the request of applicants. The average payment was 586 rubles. In particular, a resident of the Konstantinovsky district, located in territory under the control of Ukraine, received 950 thousand rubles,” Oleg Balykin specified.

Balykin also spoke about the results of the regular meeting of the Fund’s commission held on June 23, 2017, at which a total of 590 applications were considered.

“One of the recipients was a resident of the Maryinsky district, a disabled woman of the first group, who needs constant care. The woman cannot take care of herself; she needs help when buying medicine, paying for utilities, and purchasing coal. She suffers from cystitis and also has a spinal injury. The fund today paid this applicant an amount of 20 thousand rubles,” he said.

Another applicant - a resident of Donetsk, who has a whole bunch of diseases, including glaucoma of both eyes, which was the result of an acute form of diabetes, heart problems, and a heart attack - received assistance in the amount of 30000 rubles.

A 77-year-old resident of Debaltsevo, limited in movement due to illness, received 15 thousand rubles from the fund to purchase medications.

In addition, Oleg Balykin emphasized that assistance from the United Donbass fund is paid to residents of the region who find themselves in difficult life situations, regardless of what part of Donbass they live in.

“Under the 5th protocol, 29 applications were approved: 13 applicants from the DPR and 16 living in the Donetsk region will receive financial assistance. The total amount will be 720 thousand rubles. The average payment will be 24 rubles. per applicant. As of July 827, 6, 2017 payments were received for a total amount of 10 thousand rubles. In the DPR, 340 thousand rubles were paid, and in the Donetsk region controlled by Ukraine, 115 thousand rubles were paid for 5 applicants,” added Oleg Balykin.

Let us remind you that as part of the implementation of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the people of Donbass, the United Donbass Foundation provides assistance to the following categories of citizens: disabled people of groups 1 and 2; single mothers, fathers, widowers with children under 18 years of age; citizens aged 65 years and older; families raising disabled children; families of guardians, trustees; foster families and family-type orphanages in which orphans and children deprived of parental care are brought up; as well as pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy who are registered in a health care institution in accordance with the established procedure.
