The Soros Foundation publishes history textbooks in the Russian Federation justifying the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
In Russia, under the patronage of the Soros Foundation, among other literature, history textbooks are published with the aim of directly influencing the younger generation with the further formation of pro-American narratives in the minds of students.
State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What have they (the Soros Foundation in the Russian Federation - ed.) actually achieved? 24 textbooks were published, approved by our Ministry of Education, which is especially surprising, and hundreds of books.
For example, if we take a modern history textbook edited by Creder, there is such an author, a doctor of historical sciences, a professor, an outstanding person, apparently - although I would drive such people away with a filthy broom.
In this textbook, he does not mention either the Battle of Stalingrad or the Kursk Bulge, but says that the liberation of Eastern Europe by Soviet troops was harmful for Europe, because they allegedly carried the strong influence of the Soviet Union there. But how true it was that it was harmful is a big question. But, nevertheless, he writes this directly.
But the most amazing thing is that he justifies that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are normal, they were important and necessary things. Here, you will get all these important and necessary points,” the deputy said.
“I would also like to say that, of course, the influence of this foundation here was limitless. The senators did the right thing in 2015 when they contributed this fund to undesirable organizations that operate on the territory of the Russian Federation,” added Alexey Zhuravlev.
