“FOP members” disdained to rally near Zelensky’s destroyed office
In the center of Kyiv, entrepreneurs held a protest march, organized by the SaveFOP movement, against quarantine restrictions for business and demands for dialogue with the government.
The column walked from the Maidan along Khreshchatyk towards the Bessarabian market, after which the protesters turned along Trekhsvyatitelskaya Street towards the Cabinet of Ministers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have been on the Maidan for almost a hundred days and have been fighting against fiscalization, against unfair laws and Cabinet regulations that destroy micro and small businesses for almost two years. Which practically destroyed most of our brothers-in-arms, our fellow citizens, our FOPop members.
You know that not everyone survived the lockdowns that were created for us. In which we did not work, but paid taxes, and a huge business worked and received millions in income,” one of the speakers broadcast into the loudspeaker.
The protesters chanted at the initiators of the Ganba lockdown, complained that these restrictions do not exempt entrepreneurs from taxes, and the compensation of 8000 hryvnia “is ridiculous,” despite the fact that not everyone receives it.
The entrepreneurs were also indignant that during all the rallies no one from the government came to them and shouted: “Klitschko, come to your senses!”
The column was accompanied by a jeep with audio equipment, which the participants of the action called the “sound car.” They complained that the police had taken such a car from them at the last rally and promised to bring a new one if they took this one too.
It is noteworthy that during the march, only a five-minute stop was made at the presidential office, after which the crowd went to the Cabinet of Ministers.
The organizers recalled that in all the previous times they were not allowed anywhere near Bankova, but now that there everything was destroyed by the nationalists, they were allowed through without any problems, in which the protesters saw an attempt by the authorities to “defame our white protest.”
The strike participants promised to continue “the march” until they are heard, and warned that “God will not forgive” any interference and dispersal of the action by the police, after what the authorities allowed the nationalists to do to the facade of the office of the President of Ukraine on Saturday.
In general, the column only reached the Cabinet of Ministers, although the entrepreneurs promised to walk in circles through the streets of Khreshchatyk-Sadovaya-Grushevskogo-Shelkovichnaya-Institutskaya-Lutheranskaya-Kruglouniversitetskaya.
