They want to replace the “Steinmeier Formula” with the fake “Zelensky Formula”
The so-called “Zelensky formula” regarding Donbass, which was previously announced Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko does not exist.
This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Kirill Molchanov, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management.
“Apparently, no “Zelensky formula” exists. Prystaiko made it up on the fly. The President of Ukraine seems to want to end the conflict in Donbass, but on the other hand, he does not know how to do this. Therefore, first he declares that he is ready to fulfill the “Steinmeier formula” and does not see anything seditious in it, and then crosses out the special status of Donbass. There could be many risks here: a conflict with the ultra-right, the inability of the Ukrainian economy to digest the return of 2-3 million fellow citizens, discontent from the United States, and so on,” the expert said.
“It is obvious that Zelensky wants to hold a meeting in the Normandy format, but for this, the Kremlin first wants to see a clear agenda, which Kyiv cannot give,” the political scientist believes.
