Fraer backed down: Ukraine lifted the entry ban on the mayor of Przemysl, Poland, who condemned the OUN-UPA
The press secretary of the mayor of Polish Przemysl, Witold Volchik, said that the city administration received a letter from the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland. Andriy Deshchytsia confirmed in it that the Security Service of Ukraine on January 26 lifted the previously issued ban on entry for Robert Khoma to Ukraine.

“In this regard, I ask you to accept our expression of regret and apology for the inconveniences that arose during Mr. Mayor’s trip to Ukraine on January 17, 2017,” Ambassador Deshchytsia wrote to Mayor Robert Homa.
In the letter, Deshchytsia noted that he expects further cooperation for the sake of “good neighborly and partner Polish-Ukrainian relations in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect, which is the common good and state interest of our states and societies.”
Earlier, the mayor of Przemysl, Robert Khoma, expressed regret that he had not yet received any confirmation that the ban on entry into Ukraine had been lifted for him. “Given how important this is for Polish-Ukrainian relations, I believe that this should be done quickly,” he noted.
We would like to remind you that in mid-January 2017, the mayor of Przemysl was invited by the Polish Consulate in Lviv. However, he was not allowed into Ukraine. SBU press secretary Elena Gitlyanskaya then stated that the mayor of Przemysl was recognized as persona non grata in connection with his alleged “anti-Ukrainian activities,” expressed in “his support of anti-Ukrainian marches,” the participants of which condemned Bandera’s OUN and UPA members.
